We began a long term contract with Health Benefits Direct (HBDC) in 2007. As part of our relationship, we developed several lead generating websites, created internal websites and desktop applications used by managers and salespersons, and created tracking software for upper management to monitor sales and leads in real time.
In 2008, we developed technology called Abandoned Callback, which was patented by HBDC. This software records a website visitor’s information in real time as they use the website. If the visitor leaves the website before reaching a specific page on the website, our software uses an internal VOIP system to immediately call the visitor. Within 30 seconds of leaving the website, the website visitor is receiving a phone call from a lead specialist at Health Benefits Direct.
Our Abandoned Callback technology allowed HBDC to improve their conversion rate from 2% (an industry normal for their market) to nearly 75%, which is unmatched in today’s online insurance industry.
