Alliance Entertainment maintains websites for many media providers across the country, including NPR, Circuit City, IDN, The Store24, and many more.
Our primary focus was on Circuit City’s entertainment section, IDN, and The Store24. We developed E-commerce solutions, developed and improved existing search and sorting algorithms, intregration with data warehouse cubes, and front end GUI development.
Circuit City was the most difficult of all the websites to administer, because they used proprietary formatting for their website design. Working on the website was challenging and difficult because of the proprietary methods, but it was rewarding seeing your hard work on such a prominent site.
The Store24 is an inventory and ordering system used by media providers (movie studios, recording studios, DVD manufacturers, etc) to update their inventory, manage pricing and quantities available, and track sales on sites maintained by Alliance Entertainment.
